The trees at Town Green were damaged and put under severe stress from Hurricane Katrina. Not only did the stem and canopy suffer damage from wind and flying debris, the root system was impacted as well. The weight of the water and the amount of salt that was deposited in the soil had a crippling effect on the trees at Town Green park. Fulgham’s Inc. was able to save these trees by increasing root growth with aeration and a liquid injection. This injection not only built back the root system, it also helped break down the salt concentrations left from the storm surge.
As much of the gulf coast, costal Mississippi was impacted. The abnormal amount of salt water washed up caused a great many trees in the area to begin declining in health. These trees in this study are located at the Imperial Casino in Biloxu, MS. This particular live oak had severe damage from hurricane Katrina, with her 28 ft. waves. Fulgham’s Inc. Patented treatment was able to save this tree.
Mr. Lobell’s home is located at the old club house for Audubon Golf course. The two trees shown below previously had a parking lot built around them. The soil was severely compacted. House construction and landscaping further impacted the trees. Fulgham’s patented process was able to redevelop the soil by alleviating soil compaction, while restoring vital nutrients to the soil. These trees have stopped declining and is showing recovery and increased vigor.
